I’ve always loved Bobbi Brown’s makeup and her fresh, elegant shades. The quality is really great and she seems to have something for every skin tone, occasion and flaw that needs fixing.
As I got older, I noticed that I have had undereye circles that seem to be getting worse. They look puffy sometimes, especially if I’m really tired or have bad allergies that day.
On the weekends if I’m at home, I don’t really care one way or the other. However, if I need to go out beyond the local grocery store or if it’s during the work week, then I do feel self conscious.
I checked out Bobbi Brown’s website to see what concealers she carriers. One thing I did notice is that all of these products lighten the undereye skin in some way. Depending on your skin tone, you would choose a shade one or two shades lighter than your own.
Concealers have a yellow base, so that they make the undereye area look lighter and brighter. If you need only minimal coverage, then you could use a stick foundation as a concealer. On the other hand, if you need heavier coverage, then you might use a corrector.
Correctors have pink or peach undertones which are designed to conceal the blue undertones in dark circles. Then you would use the concealer on top of it.
Obviously you would choose shades flattering to your own skin tone. Bobbi Brown has a range of shades suitable for any skin tone.
